"We opened this shop a few months ago after my husband & I lost our jobs due to Covid 19. Previously my husband worked as a driver, taking tourists to various water sports in the Jimbaran and Nusa dua areas. My husband's income was very good at that time, but when tourism decreased, there was no longer any need for his driving services. We had trouble paying for a place to stay because it was so difficult to find new income. We finally opened this warung with the remaining of our savings and borrowed land from a friend. We still always talk about the pandemic ending, we want things to return to normal."
